Low taxes benefit us all.
When government takes less taxes there is more money left over to create jobs.
We have far too many lobbyists standing in line at the government trough, waiting for a cut of the spoils. Politicians spend much more money than they take in and we all pay in the form of higher taxes. Despite chatter to the contrary, our economy is still in the worst recession since the Great Depression, and it's taking far too long to recover. The government is giving away tax money to corporations in the form of misguided incentives and bailouts. It also gives away too much to support funding our troops that defend rich countries such as Germany and Japan. I believe that the people that make the money can do a much better job at deciding how to spend their money than the government can.
I support a balanced budget amendment, and would make drastic cuts in government spending in order to lower the deficit and cut taxes.
I support ending the IRS and replacing it with nothing. The United States should derive all of it's revenue from the states and be held accountable to them.
